Manufacturer's declaration
The electronic torque wrench CRR 320 conforms to
DIN EN ISO Standard 6789 Type I Class C and
VDI 2648. A calibration certificate as per
DIN EN ISO 6789 is enclosed.
These operating instructions contain important infor-
mation essential to proper operation of the CRR 320.

The CRR 320 and its packaging are made of materials
suitable for recycling and must be disposed of in the
proper manner.

Safety instructions

The CRR 320 must always be properly calibrated
before use.
!
Always handle the CRR 320 in the manner of a
measuring instrument.
!
Only ever employ the CRR 320 within the permissib-
le torque range.
!
Always apply the CRR 320 at right angles to the
bolted joint.
!
Only ever use the CRR 320 together with standard
attachments and accessories.
!
Never use the CRR 320 as an impact tool.
!
Never operate the CRR 320 with worn or defective
accessories.

Intended use

The CRR 320 is only to be used for controlled
clockwise and counter-clockwise tightening and the
controlled unfastening of bolted joints.
!
Any other or additional application of the CRR 320 is
deemed to contravene the intended use. No liability
will be accepted for any resultant damage. Warranty
claims will not be accepted in such cases.

Switching the CRR 320 on and off
The CRR 320 can be switched on with any key.

The CRR 320 is calibrated automatically after switch-
on. To avoid incorrect calibration, the CRR 320 is not
to be moved during this calibration procedure.
To switch off, press the keys
(beep).
7.1
Changing the direction of the threa-
ded connection
After changing the direction of the threaded connection
(e.g. from right to left), the following procedure should
be carried out before the next screwing operation:
Load the torque spanner to the last-specified torque
(e.g. 50 Nm right = 50 Nm left) in the new direction of
the threaded connection.
The confirm by pressing the confirmation key
approx. 2 to 3 seconds. An automatic calibration is
carried out.
Perform the screw operation with the new screw para-
meters in the specified direction.
