PROBLEM
1. The starter motor does not
turn.
2. The starter motor turns, but the
engine fails to start
With ignition key in start position,
the starter motor turns, but the
engine fails to start.
3. Starting is difficult or the en-
gine runs erratically.
4. Weak engine performance
during cutting.
5. Engine stops for no apparent
reason.
6. Irregular cutting.
7. Unusual vibrations during use. - Cutting means incorrectly
8. When the engine is running,
the machine remains stationary
when the drive pedal is pressed.
If one of the problems listed below occurs, replace the relevant fuse.
9. No electrical function is opera-
tional. The battery is charged.
NOTE If problems persist after having performed the de-
scribed operations, contact your dealer.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Insufficiently charged battery.
Badly connected battery.
Fuse 5:A blown
Fuel tap closed
Faulty fuel supply.
Faulty ignition.
Carburation fault.
Forward speed too high in rela-
tion to the cutting height.
- Fuel has run out.
- Try restarting the engine.
Cutting means sharpening is
reduced.
High advancing speed in relation
to the height of the grass to be
cut.
The cutting means assembly is
full of grass.
balanced.
- Cutting means loose.
- Loose parts.
- Possible damage.
"Transmission disengagement"
lever in disengaged position.

SOLUTION
Recharge the battery.
Check the connections
Replace the fuse
Open the fuel tap.
- Check the level in the tank.
- Check the fuel filter.
- Check that the spark plug cap is
securely fitted
- Check that the electrodes are
clean and have the correct gap.
Clean or replace the air filter.
Reduce advancing speed and/or
increase the cutting height.
Top up the fuel (if the problem per-
sists, contact an authorised service
centre).
Check the tyre pressure
Contact an Authorised Service
Centre.
Reduce advancing speed and/or
increase the cutting height.
- Wait for the grass to dry.
- Clean the cutting means assembly.
Contact an Authorised Service Cen-
tre for verifications, replacements
or repairs.
Engage the transmission.
