• Push the lock ring on the female coupler backwards.
• Push the couplers into each other and the lock ring of the female coupler will automatically lock.
• Check whether the couplers can not be pulled apart with a normal manual effort and turn the
retainer ring clockwise so that the lock ring is secured.
• Connect the dust caps together.
5.3 Disconnect the hydraulic hoses
5.3.1 General
CAUTION
Never use pliers or similar tools to disconnect the hydraulic couplers.
5.3.2 Quick-Lock couplers
Refer to Fig. 9.
WARNING
Always make sure that the pressure relief valve is in the open (0) position, before you
disconnect hydraulic hose(s) from the pump.
• Disconnect the dust caps from each other.
• Turn the retainer ring on the female coupler anti-clockwise to unsecure the lock ring.
• Disconnect the quick couplers by pushing the lock ring on the female coupler backwards and the
male coupler will be released.
• Clean the couplers and the dust caps.
• Replace the dust caps on the female and male couplers.
5.4 Start the pump
5.4.1 Start the electric motor
Refer to Fig. 2.
• Set the pressure relief valve (1) in the position "neutral".
• Set the switch (3) to position "ON".
CAUTION
The electric motor can not be started when loaded.
5.4.2 Start the petrol engine
For detailed instructions refer to the Instructions for Use of the petrol engine.
Refer to Fig. 2.
• Set the pressure relief valve (1) in the "neutral" position.
• Open the fuel valve (12).
• Turn the stop switch (11) to the position "I" (ON).
• Set the speed control lever (16) 1/3 of the way towards the high speed position.
• Close the choke lever (15). For a cold engine push lever all the way to the left and for a warm
engine push to the middle position.
