3.2.1 Installing/removing Bosch CRINs
Damaged Bosch CRINs may damage the connec‐
tion adapter.

Defective O-rings on the Bosch CRIN may not
form a proper seal. Leakage may lead to observa‐
tional errors.
---
1. Clean the Bosch CRIN as specified by Bosch.
2. Check the Bosch CRIN for damage. Do not install a
Bosch CRIN if it is visibly damaged.

3. Check both O-rings on the Bosch CRIN. Replace any
damaged O-rings.
4. Check the O-ring (2) of the connection adapter (1)
for damage and proper placement. Replace the O-
ring if it is damaged.

5. Release the screw (1), and remove the hold-down
(2).

6. Slide the Bosch CRIN into the hold-down (1).
7. Use the hold-down to insert the Bosch CRIN into the
connection adapter (2), and position it in such a way

that the screw is aligned with the threaded hole.
