DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTIONS:
The transmitter is equipped with 5 buttons
for the management of the hood functions,
specified as follows:
ON/OFF
To increase
motor switch
the speed of

On/Off light
switch
When pressing the button the main light
switches on and off. For models equipped
with a courtesy light: the light can be con-
trolled by a prolonged pressure of the button
of 2 seconds.
INITIAL FUNCTIONING CONDITION:
The manufacturer supplies the remote control
ready for use with predefined factory codes.

FUNCTIONING METHOD:
Standard configuration:
The factory configuration foresees that all
remote control hood systems have the same
transmission code. In the case of installing
two radio remote control systems in the same
room or in the vicinity, the two systems could
interfere with each other seeing that they
have the same code. Therefore, the code of
one radio remote control must be changed.
Generation of a new transmission code:
The radio remote control is supplied with pre-
defined codes.
If a new transmission code is to be generated,
carry out the following procedure:
The product must conform to the specifications
of the R&TTE 99/5/EC
Simultaneously press the following buttons
for two seconds until the LEDs light up.
Successively press the buttons within five
seconds:
Three flashes of the LEDs indicate that the
operation has been completed.
ATTENTION: This operation will definitely
cancel the existing codes.
Learning the new transmission code:
After changing the transmission code of the
remote control, the electronic central unit of
the hood must acquire the new code. To do
this:
Press the main ON/OFF switch of the hood to
reset the power supply to the electronic cen-
tral unit. From this moment, keep the LIGHT
button pressed for 15 seconds so that the
central unit synchronises with the new code.
ATTENTION: If the hood does not respond
to the remote control it may be that an in-
compatible frequency has been set. It is
advisable to reset the original factory fre-
quency.
