BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• First, remove all packaging material and dispose of it correctly.
• Clean the collecting container with warm water and a mild detergent.
Then dry off completely.
• Wipe the housing and the crank with a soft cloth, slightly damp if
necessary.
• For mechanical cleaning and initial handling exercises, proceed as
follows:
• Unscrew the collecting container from the housing.
• Adjust the grinder setting medium-fine to coarse (see GRINDER
ADJUSTMENT).
• Screw the collecting container back onto the housing of the coffee
grinder.
• Take off the crank and fill one coffee scoop raw rice grains into the
hopper.
• Put back the crank and turn it clockwise with regular movements.
• Operate the mill until it is completely empty and remove the collecting
container.
• Adjust the grinder setting very fine and fill the ground rice granulate in
the hopper again. Screw the collecting container back onto the housing,
put back the crank and grind the mill until empty again.
• Empty the collecting container completely and wipe it with a dry cloth.
• Any rice dust remaining in the hopper or grinder has a neutral taste and
does not affect the coffee enjoyment.
• Your coffee mill is now ready for use!
We recommend using this cleaning procedure on a regular basis and after
extended periods of disuse.
