Removing Belt Linkage
Extended use may cause the belt to loosen on either
the fan pulley or the motor pulley. Reducing the link-
age on the belt may be required.
1. Remove the belt per belt replacement procedure.
2. Flip the belt inside out.
3. Hold the belt upside down and flex the belt to
expose link tab.

4. Twist the tab 90° parallel to the slot.
5. Pull the end of the link over the tab.

6. Rotate the belt end with the tab 90°.
7. Pull the belt end through the two link.
8. Remove the link tab from the belt.
9. To re-assembly, reverse the processes.
10. Flip the belt back before installing it onto the pulleys.
Fan and Motor Pulley
1. Remove belt guard from heater.
2. Remove belt from pulleys. See Belt Replacement.
3. Loosen set screw on fan and motor pulleys with a
9/64 in. allen wrench. See Fig. 19.
4. Remove pulleys and keys from fan shaft and motor.
