Detach tare hanger and secure properly.

Remove beam.
7.
Take weight carrier off as per fig. 10 and 11.
8.
Switch one of the decade knobs to „ 8 " . Remove weight from the Iowest hook.
9.
Switch decade knobs from 7 to 6 to 5 and remove respective weights. Once the weights are removed, return knob
to „ 9 " and proceed accordingly w i t h the remaining decades.
10.
Place balance back on a soft cushion. Loosen b o t t o m cover plate. Clean mirror.
Reattach b o t t o m cover and set balance on its feet.

Clean weight w i t h dry Charmois leather and return to proper hook.
