SETTING UP THE UNITS - 9
Two ways of setting up the units are recommended.
@ Vertical placement
@ Horizontal placement
Connectabie CD players
Use an optional Aiwa DX-Z9300M, DX-Z9200M or DX-Z9100M,
DX-Z980M or DX-Z830 CD player for full compatibility of the
remote control operations and CD SYNCHRO
REC function.
Refer to the Operating Instruction of your CD player for details.
Input signal code selection may be required when an optional
CD player is connected to the unit.
The optional Aiwa CD players recommended above have different
signal codes. When a CD player is connected, select the
appropriate setting on this unit to match the signal code of the
connected CD player.
This unit is factory preset to match the signal code of the Aiwa
DX-Z9300M, DX-Z9200M or DX-Z9100M CD player. For other
connectable CD players, press the POWER
button on the
amplifier while pressing the CD button so that "CD 1" appears in
the display window of the amplifier. Repeat the above to switch
the signal code back to "CD 3" as necessary.
