SETTING MANUAL CUSTOMIZED
EQUALIZATION CURVES — &
Up to five customized equalization curves can be stored in
memory. Simply setting the peak levels automatically constructs
an optimum curve.
Proceed to each step within 4 seconds.
1 Use the CURSOR CONTROL to set the frequency
and adjust the level.
The manual mode is automatically selected and "MANU"
appears on the display.
</>: To select the frequency.
A/Y¥: To adjust the level.
2 Press the MEMORY button.
"MEMORY?" flashes on the display for 3 seconds.
Proceed to
step 3 within 3 seconds.
3 While "MEMORY"
is flashing, press one of the
manual preset number (1-5) buttons.
The
selected
manual
preset
number
appears
and
"FILENAME" flashes on the display for 4 seconds. Proceed
to step 4 within 4 seconds.
4 Use the CURSOR CONTROL to enter a file name.
</>: To move the cursor to the desired character position.
A/Y: To select the desired character.
A to Z (26 characters)
0 to 9 (10 characters)
*, A, >, etc. (21 characters)
5 Press the MEMORY button.
The equalization curve is stored.
NOTE!
Do not select one of the preset number (1-5) buttons in step 3
when the display is not flashing. Doing so will cancel the newly
customized equalization curve.
If the display stops flashing, press the MEMORY button again
and complete step 3 while the display is flashing.
To select a stored curve
1 Press the GEQ
OFF/ON
button to turn on the graphic
equalizer.
2 Press the PRGM/MANUAL
button to select the MANUAL
mode.
3 Select one of the preset number buttons.
The equalization curve setting is displayed for approximately
2 seconds.
To select with the remote control ~ EI
After pressing the GEQ OFF/ON
button, press the MANUAL
button repeatedly. The stored equalization curves are displayed
cyclically.
To avoid entering a file name
In step 4, press the MEMORY
button instead. The file name
becomes "GEQ N-' followed by the corresponding manual! preset
number selected in step 3.
