Connection to power line
Before you operate your Dual TG
29 for
the first time, please check your local line
voltage and make sure, it corresponds to
the voltage selector @ on your unit. Nor-
mally the unit Is shipped set at 220 V,
50 Hz ог 117 V, 60 Hz.
Voltage can be selected to 110, 130, 220
or 250 Y а. с. by turning the voltage selec-
tor on the rear of the unit. Change of ope-
rating voltage does not require a change
of fuses.
To change a defective fuse, first press the
cap,
then
turn
it counterclockwise
and
take it out together with the fuse.
Use only F 400 mA fuses and be sure to
disconnect the line plug before touching
the voltage
adjustment, replacing fuses or
opening the
unit.
Adjusting the unit to a different
line frequency
The adjustment is done by replacing the
motor pulleys.
1. Remove
the knobs and after removing
the six screws, also the top-cover plate,
then release the belt.
2. Remove
the sink screw,
replace
both
the small and the large motor pulley
and fasten the sink screw again.

. Put the belt in place again and fasten
top
cover
plate
with the six screws.
Finally set the knobs.

Stereo amplifier or radlo hook-up
Your TG 29 can be connected
to a play-
back amplifier with an audio cable. Con-
nect RADIO output jack with tape input
jack of the amplifier or the radio. With this
done the unit Is ready for recorded tapes
playback
operation
as
well
as
for any

which
are
connected
to the
amplifier
(tuner or recordplayer).
H your
amplifier is equipped with a separate
„monitor"
input
jack
and
a
„monitor"
switch then the „monitor"
jacks of both
the tapedeck and the amplifier have to be
connected also with an audio cable.
If your
unit is equipped
with
RCA-type
Jacks (input 1 =
left channel, input 2 =
right channel}
connect
output 1 of tape-
deck to input 1 of amplifier and output 2
to input 2 with a RCA-type plug cable.
