VOX SET
(keys combination: • + long press)
Press one time the • key (10) and then press during 1 second
the •VOX key (7) in order to activate the function VOX SETTING.
"VOX" appears. Three adjustments are possible: Sensitivity SET-L /
Anti-vox level SET-A / Vox delay time SET-T. Press shortly the •VOX
key (7) in order to go to the following adjustment (looping SET-L,
SET-A, SET-T).
The message shows the type of adjustment followed by its level
{SET-L1}, {SET-A1}, {SET-T1}.
- Sensitivity SET-L: allows the adjustment of the microphone (original
one or optional vox) for an optimum transmission quality. Adjustable
level from 1 (high level) to 9 (low level) by using CH knob (6). "L"
corresponds to the Sensitivity Level. Default level is 1 (SET-L1).
- Anti-Vox SET-A: allows disabling the transmission generated by
the surrounding noise. The level is adjustable, Off (according to
the squelch level) or from 0 (without Anti-vox) to 9 (low level) by
using CH knob (6). "A" corresponds to Anti-vox Level. Default level
id Off (SET-AOFF).
- Delay time SET-T: allows avoiding the sudden cut of the transmission
by adding a delay at the end of speaking. The level is adjustable
from 1 (short delay) to 9 (long delay) by using channel selector
switches (6). "T" corresponds to Delay Time. Default level is 5
(SET-T5).
Long press •VOX key (7) key in order to valid adjustments and
quit the Vox Adjustment mode.
When VOX SETTING is done the VOX function is automatically ON.
"VOX" appears on the display.

SCAN
(short press)
IN CB MODE

Short press the SCAN key (8) to activate SCAN function (for CB
channels). The scanning starts in an increasing way. Turn to the left
the CH rotary knob or pressing the DN key (6) on the microphone
to scan in a decreasing way. "SCAN" is displayed. The scanning
stops as soon as there is a busy channel.
While scanning, press for 1 second the • key (10) to alternate
between All Channel Scan
In Memory Scan Channel
on page 8) and the memorized channels are scanned.
Press the PTT switch (13) or the SCAN key (8) again to exit SCAN
function in CB mode.

IN WEATHER MODE

Press the SCAN key (8) to activate the SCAN function (for WEATHER
channels). The scanning starts in an increasing way. Turn to the left
the CH rotary knob or pressing the DN key (6) on the microphone
to scan in a decreasing way. "SCAN" is displayed. The scanning
stops as soon as there is a busy channel.
Note: If the ALERT function is activated, the SIREN tone sounds
(see the § ALERT on page 11) when a tone is detected in the
selected WEATHER channel only. Use first SCAN function in
mode to detect tones in all the WEATHER channels.
Press the SCAN key (8) again to exit SCAN function in
mode.
SKIP
(long press)
This function allows you to SKIP a channel found by the SCAN
function. When the scan stops on an unwanted channel, press
and hold the SKIP key (8) for 1 second to store this channel in the
SCAN SKIP. it will no longer be scanned.
Consult the menu RESET on page 15.
DW
(keys combination: • + short press)
Press one time the • key (10) and then short press the •DW key
(8) to activate the DUAL WATCH function. "DW" is displayed. This
function lets you watch over the emergency channels and the
current channel. The first key combination activates the DW
function between EMG 1 and the current channel. A second key
combination allows to activates the DW function between EMG 2
and the current channel. The number of the current channel and
