Hand/arm vibrations.
While working with this
WARNING
power tool, hand/arm vibra-
tions occur. These can lead to health impair-
ments.
The vibration emission value
WARNING
during actual use of the
power tool can differ from the declared
value depending on the ways in which the
tool is used.
It is necessary to identify
WARNING
safety measures to protect
the operator that are based on an estimation
of exposure in the actual conditions of use.
The vibration emission level given in this
information sheet has been measured in
accordance with a standardized test given in
EN 60745 and may be used to compare one
tool with another. It may be used for a pre-
liminary assessment of the vibrational
impact.
The declared vibration emission level repre-
sents the main applications of the power
tool. However, if the power tool is used for
other applications with different accessories
or poorly maintained, the vibration emission
may differ. This may significantly increase
the vibrational impact over the total work-
ing period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to
vibration should also take into account the
times when the tool is switched off or when
it is running but not actually doing the job.
This may significantly reduce the exposure
level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to pro-
tect the operator from the effects of vibra-
tion such as: Maintain the power tool and
the accessories, keep the hands warm, orga-
nization of work patterns.
The vibrational emission values are given for
dry grinding of metal with grinding points.
Other applications, such as shaping with
hard metal cutters, can lead to other vibra-
tional emission values.
