Working instructions.
Before mounting or replacing application tools or accessories, remove the
WARNING
battery. This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries
through accidental starting of the power tool.
Do not use accessories not specifically intended and recommended for this power tool by
FEIN. The use of non-original FEIN accessories can lead to overheating of the power tool
and destroy it.
For each job, use only the FEIN application tool released and intended for the respec-
tive application.
Switching on and off (figure 8).
Always hold the power tool
CAUTION
firmly. Otherwise, you could
lose control over the power tool.
The self-start lock prevents the cordless
straight grinder from automatically restart-
ing again after a power interruption, e.g.,
after changing the battery. In this case,
switch the power tool off, remove it from
the workpiece and check the application
tool. Afterwards, switch the power tool on
again.
Use a collet that fits the grinding accessory.
Insert the clamping shaft of the grinding
accessory to the stop into the collet.
Observe the maximum permitted projecting
shaft length (a) of the grinding accessory
according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Move the power tool back and forth apply-
ing uniform pressure, so that the workpiece
surface does not become too hot.
For best performance, operate the power
tool only with FEIN CORE batteries or with
CORE batteries of AMPShare partners.
When using other batteries, the functional-
ity can be limited.

Press and push the On/Off switch forward
(I).
Switching off:
Press the switch downward ().
