Secure the workpiece sufficiently. An
inadequately secured workpiece can,
for example, cause the grinding acces-
sory to jam. This can lead to kickback,
cause the workpiece to fall down, and
lead to other dangerous situations.
Shank length (figure 12).
Observe the maximum permitted pro-
jecting shaft length (a) of the grinding
accessory according to the manufac-
turer's instructions.
Cutting (figure 13).
Always work in an up-grinding motion,
so that the cutting disc will not jump
out of the cut.
