Turn the control knob to position 0.

WARNING
Risk of burns
When the appliance cover is closed, this leads to
a build-up of heat. Only operate or switch on the
appliance when the appliance cover is open. Do
not use the appliance cover for keeping warm or
setting down. Only close the appliance cover
once the appliance has cooled down.

Damage to the appliance
Remove spilled liquids before opening the
appliance cover.

Residual heat display

The illuminated ring behind the right-hand control knob
flashes after turning off as long as the appliance is too
hot to safely touch it.

Keeping warm setting

In the keeping warm setting, you can keep meals warm
after preparing them.
Turn the temperature control knob to the keeping warm

setting
. With the left-hand control knob, you can
choose the whole surface or only the front or rear
section.

Safety shut-off

For your protection, the appliance has a safety shut-off
feature. Every heating operation is switched off after
four hours if the appliance is not operated during this
time. Even after a power outage, the heating element
stays switched off. The illuminated ring behind the
control knob flashes.
Turn the temperature control knob to 0. You can then
operate the appliance in the way to which you are
accustomed.
