ctive Wintering
When temperatures are low, very little chlorine is needed. If you are actively winterising your pool, the
Covered Pool mode will be sufficient.
However, below 10°C, the chlorinator will not produce chlorine and will go into error. This feature extends
the life of the cell and the E2 error will appear.
If the water temperature continues to fall until it freezes, the cell will be damaged
by the icy water, as will your pool's plumbing.
Before the first frost, as a precaution, you should dismantle the cell (following the previous protocol) by
closing the bypass to isolate the circuit. Store your cell in a dry place.
If a bypass is no! in place, replace the cell with the winterizing tube (product ref.
CL TSLTUBE - not provided). Store your cell in a dry place.
P
assive Wintering
In areas subject to severe or prolonged periods of freezing cold, before the first frost, make sure
you drain all the water from the pump, filter, supply and return lines.
As a precaution, you should also dismantle the cell (following the previous protocol), closing the bypass
to isolate the circuit, then store the cell in a dry place.
If there is no bypass, replace the cell with the wintering tube (ref. CL-TSLTUBE - option). Store your cell
in a dry place.

estarting in sPring
When you operate the pool after a long period of inactivity, do not start the chlorinator until you have
balanced the chemical properties of the water, in particular pH and salt concentration, and restored them
to their ideal level (in particular ph between 7.0 and 7.4 and salt concentration 3.5 g/l).
This is also a good time to check all the other parameters as defined at the beginning of these instructions.
WARNING:
if you come out of winter with green
to make up for the green water. Intermittent use of chlorine tablets may be necessary.
Do not put the chlorine tablets directly into the skimmer; use a floating dispenser. Be
sure to switch off the chlorinator beforehand to avoid damaging the cell.
