It is also very important to respect the minimum daily filtration times for these modes:

If you are still experiencing problems, then your chlorinator may have broken down. The chlorinator also
has a self-diagnosis system which indicates any problems by means of error codes (see "Error codes and
solutions", page 39).
P
articuLar case
In regions where the water is very hard (= high calcium content) and in pools with a poorly balanced
chemical composition, the cell may require specific cleaning. Remember to set the polarity inversion time
(4h / 8h / 12h) according to the hardness of your water. The harder your water, the shorter the time
required. This is because electrolysis creates chlorine (hypochlorite) from the salt, but also naturally
leads to the formation of a mineral deposit on the titanium electrodes in the cell. The reverse polarity self-
cleaning function helps to prevent the formation of these deposits and scaling. If the water is very hard
and the TH is high, the formation of deposits is inevitable and these must be removed.
r
emPLacing the ceLL
When the titanium plates inside the electrolysis cell have reached the end of their service life (after
approximately 10,000 hours), they can be replaced. To guarantee quality and value, only original spare
parts should be used. If necessary, there are also bypass tubes that can be used to continue circulating
water through the pipework without the cell being in place. See the chapter on wintering (Wintering tube
ref. CL-TSLTUBE - optional).

E2
: The water temperature is outside the operating range.
Note: The normal water temperature operating range is between 10°C and 45°C.
Solution: Check the water temperature
• If the water temperature in your pool is < 10°C, consider winterising your product.
• If the temperature of the water in your pool is > 45°C, switch off the chlorinator and wait for the water
temperature to return to the operating range.
• If the actual water temperature is within the operating range, check for the simultaneous presence of
error E3 or E7 (see next page).
