5.12 controlled crisper
(This feature is optional)
Humidity rates of the vegetables and
fruit are kept under control with the
feature of humidity-controlled cris-
per and the food is ensured to stay
fresh for longer.
We recommend you to place the le-
afy vegetables such as lettuce, spi-
nach and the vegetables which are
sensitive to humidity loss, in a hori-
zontal manner as much as possible
inside the crisper, not on their roots
in a vertical position.
While the vegetables are being pla-
ced, specific gravity of the vegetab-
les should be taken into considerati-
on. Heavy and hard vegetables sho-
uld be put at the bottom of the cris-
per and the lightweight and soft ve-
getables should be placed over.
Never leave the vegetables inside
the crisper in their bags. If the vege-
tables are left inside their bags, this
will cause them to decompose in a
short period of time. In case con-
tacting with other vegetables is not
preferred for hygiene concerns, use
a perforated paper and other simi-
lar packaging materials instead of
a bag.
Do not place together the pear, ap-
ricot, peach, etc. and apple in parti-
cular which have a high level of ge-
neration of ethylene gas in the same
crisper with the other vegetables
and fruit. The ethylene gas which is
emitted by these fruit may cause the
other fruit to ripen faster and de-
compose in a shorter time.
