Contraindications
Do not use this device if you have any of the following:
• Implanted electrical devices (e.g. pacemakers).
• Metal implants.
• A known or acute cardiac arrhythmia, or disorders of the heart's impulse and conduction system.
• Acute illness.
• If you suffer from a seizure disorder (e.g. epilepsy).
• Malignant diseases.
• Skin injuries or cuts.
• Pregnancy.
• An increased tendency to bleed, e.g. after an acute injury or a fracture. The stimulation current can trigger or exacerbate
bleeding.
• Recent operation when muscle contractions could impair the healing process.
• A high frequency surgical device connected.
• Low or high blood pressure.
• High fever.
• Psychosis.
• Swollen or inflamed regions.
• An insulin pump.
