PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PLAN SCHEDULE
TASKS
Check tyre pressure
Check general tyre state (tread height, rubbing, cracking,
etc.) and change if necessary.
Clean Batec.
Tighten screws.
Check brakes (covers, cables, levers, discs, etc.).
Change and/or adjust parts if necessary.
Check gears (covers, cables, derailleur, etc.).
Change and/or adjust if necessary.
Check lubrication of cables and chains, grease if necessary.
Check transmission mechanism and coupling,
grease if necessary.
Check spoke tension. Visit an Official Service Centre
or Authorised Distributor if necessary.
Have Batec checked by an Official Service Centre
or Authorised Distributor.

Checking tyre pressure:
Make sure the tyre pressure is as recommended for each model and
that there are no irregularities on the surface.
Cleaning the HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID:
Clean the frame with soap and warm water. Use car soap or anoth-
er non-abrasive cleaning agent. Dry it carefully. Never use a pressure
washer to clean it.
Disinfecting the HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID
To disinfect the HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID, follow the steps below:
- Use a hydro-alcoholic sanitiser and a cloth.
- Wet the cloth with a generous amount of sanitiser.
- Rub the cloth over any surfaces that come in contact with the user:
handlebars, buttons, display panel and detaching lever.
- Leave to air dry.
IMPORTANT!
Sand and salt water can damage some parts of the HANDBIKE BATEC
HIBRID after prolonged contact. Clean it after use in these conditions.
Cleaning front and rear wheels:
Make sure the front wheel and rear wheels turn freely and eliminate
any dirt.
Checking brakes:
Make sure that when you squeeze the brake levers, both have suffi-
cient contact with the disc for effective braking.
