Causes of error
Exhaust partially covered.
Front perforation in the
working area
totally/partially covered.
Distance between cabinet
exhaust and lab ceiling too
small.
Clogged exhaust filter or
aspiration filter (Model
BiOptima Cyto).
Ducted cabinet and ducting
too long.
Front and rear perforation
in the work zone
totally/partially covered.
Clogged laminar down flow
filter or aspiration filter
(Model BiOptima Cyto).
Air currents in front
aperture.
Correction of error
Visually check the exhaust to remove any
type of obstruction.
Visually check the perforation and remove
any type of obstruction.
Increase space between cabinet exhaust and
the ceiling. In some cases it is possible to
modify or eliminate the false ceiling.
Install a lower support table. This means the
working area will be also lower.
Duct the cabinet (Chapter 3.5).
Change the Prefilter (Annex A4.1).
Check the date of the last filter change and
the hours it has been under operation.
(Chapter 4.5 point 3.2).
Notify the technical service to change the
filter.
Fit an additional fan at the end of the duct
(Chapter 3.5).
Visually check the perforation and remove
any type of obstruction.
Change the Prefilter (Annex A4.1).
Check the date of the last filter change and
the hours it has been under operation.
(Chapter 4.5 point 3.2).
Notify the technical service to change the
filter.
Check and remove any airflow in front of the
cabinet that distorts the reading of the
sensor.
