for more than one minute, as this could damage the pump.
- This device is not designed to pump hot water. Do not connect
the appliance to a hot-water supply, as this will significantly
reduce the shelf life of the pump.
- Make sure the water inlet pressure is between 0.01 MPa and
0.4 MPa and that the inlet hose is at least 5 metres long.
- If the device is to be connected to a drinking-water supply,
install a disconnector on the water pipe to prevent dirty
water from backing up and entering the drinking-water
system. The disconnector must comply with EN 60335-2-79
ANNEX A.
- This device must not be controlled by external switching
elements such as timers or connected to electrical circuits
that are continuously switched on and off.
- Release the trigger when switching from high to low
pressure.
- Keep the high-pressure hose away from sharp objects. The
burst of a high-pressure hose could cause injury. Inspect the
high-pressure hose regularly and replace it if necessary. Do
not try to fix a damaged high-pressure hose.
- Keep all connections dry and off the ground to avoid risk of
electric shock. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not use a pressure higher than the one permitted by
the parts of the pressurisation system (high-pressure
hose, connections, etc.). Make sure every component and
accessory is rated to withstand the maximum operating
pressure of the unit.
Repairing double-insulated devices
- A double-insulated device is equipped with two insulation
systems instead of an earth connection. No earth-connection
means are provided for double-insulated devices, nor
