ATTENTION
Electrical shock in the event of a short-circuit
Exceeding the mains grid impedance can cause a
short-circuit.
The maximum permissible mains grid impedance at the
electrical connection point (see Technical data) must
not be exceeded.
DANGER
Damage to the skin, lungs and eyes through fine
dust
Emission of fine dust when used without a filter or with
a damaged filter
Never vacuum without a filter or with a damaged filter.
ATTENTION
Damage to the device
The suction motor can be damaged if the device is used
without a filter or with a damaged filter.
Never vacuum without a filter or with a damaged filter.
Note
Additional regulations may apply to dusts with an igni-
tion energy of less than 1 mJ.
1. Bring the device into the working position and se-
cure with the parking brake if necessary.
2. Ensure that the suction head is fitted correctly.
3. Insert the suction hose into the suction hose con-
nection.
Illustration B
4. Plug the desired accessory onto the suction hose.
5. Check the filling level of the dirt receptacle and emp-
ty it if necessary before starting vacuuming.

Switching on the device
For the illustrations, refer to the graphics page
If the main switch springs back to position 0 when the
device is switched on then the polarity at the unit plug is
incorrect. Change the polarity at the unit plug.
Illustration C
1. Connect the mains plug.
2. Switch on the device at the main switch.
Illustration D
Wet vacuum cleaning operation
ATTENTION
Risk of damage if the dirt receptacle overflows
The dirt receptacle can fill within a few seconds and
overflow when vacuuming large amounts of liquids.
Continuously monitor the filling level.
1. Perform vacuuming.
2. Regularly check the filling level in the dirt receptacle.
3. Empty the vacuum cleaner waste container as nec-
essary.
4. Clean or replace the filter as necessary.
Dry vacuuming operation
DANGER
Damage to the skin, lungs and eyes through fine
dust
Expulsion of fine dust due to a filter that is no longer per-
missible
If the device has previously been used for wet vacuum
cleaning, the filter used for this (wet or dried) is no
longer suitable for dry vacuuming.
Replace the filter with a new, dry filter.
1. Perform vacuuming.
2. Clean or replace the filter as necessary.
A pressure gauge showing the vacuum inside the de-
vice is mounted on the front of the device. If the vacuum
is greater than the value specified in the table, then the
filter must be cleaned/replaced.

1
Switch off the device at the "ON/OFF switch".
2
Move the filter cleaning lever back and forth several
times.
If this cleaning does not result in an improvement, the fil-
ter must be removed or replaced, see chapter Chang-
ing/replacing the filter.
Emptying the vacuum cleaner waste
1. Switch off the device.
2. Secure the device using the parking brakes on the
steering rollers.
3. Open the lock on the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer upwards.
