Seals out of their positions, deterioration of the seals.
Loss of fluids outside the heat exchanger.
External fluid leakage from the plate package during operation.
Danger if the fluids come into contact with each other. May cause toxic and
harmful effects.
Replace the damaged seals.
Place a container beneath the heat exchanger to collect the fluid. In the event of
an oil leak, use sawdust or cardboard.
During maintenance, mount the plate package correctly, as described in this
manual.
Use the regulation system and the automatic pressure regulation systems to
prevent possible water surges which could cause the seals to move.
Do not use hazardous fluids.
Avoid mechanical loads, heat and quick temperature changes.
Maintain the heat exchanger properly to avoid the materials deteriorating.
Leakage currents in the heat exchanger.
Damage to plates due to corrosion and electrical discharge.
Mixing of fluids in the two circuits and system failures.
Avoid the occurrence of parasitic currents and earth the heat exchanger.
Make sure that the operating fluid doesn't create corrosion.
Mechanical loads lead to the loosening of the expanding screws.
Decompressing seals.
Fluid flowing out of the heat exchanger.
The pipelines must not transfer vibrations or pressure to the heat exchanger.
(Provide pipe decoupling)
The close rate of the plate package must be checked regularly.
Fluid escaping from the connections.
System malfunction and pressure loss.
Leakages (even hazardous leakages) too large for the container that must be
placed under the heat exchanger.
Avoid shocks and vibrations to the connectors.
Avoid pressure shocks and thermal loads.
Provide a safety valve for the whole system.
