INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
GENERAL
This manual is an integral and essential part of the supply and shall be delivered to the user. Read carefully the instructions
given in this Manual, since they supply important indications on safety of installation, use and maintenance. Keep this
Manual safely for any further reference. The burner shall be installed by professionally qualified personnel, following
the manufacturer's instructions, in compliance with the regulations in force. Improper installation can results in damage
to people, animals or property for which the manufacturer shall not be held liable.
This unit shall be used in the application for which it is expressly intended. Any other use is to be regarded as improper
and therefore a potential source of danger. Any manufacturer's liability for damage resulting from misuse shall be expressly
excluded.
Before any cleaning or servicing operation, the unit shall be disconnected from mains by turning off the system switch
or through the cut-out devices purposely provided.
In case of breakdown and/or misoperation, switch off the unit. Do not try to repair or reactivate it. Contact qualified
personnel only. Repairs shall be made only by a service centre duly authorised by the manufacturer, using factory spare
parts only. Failure to comply with the above instructions may jeopardise the unit safety. It is essential that the unit is
regularly serviced by professionally qualified personnel, following the manufacturer's instructions, to ensure full serviceability
and proper operation.
When use the unit is to be discontinued, any potential source of hazard shall be made inoperative.
Before starting the burner ask qualified personnel to check that:
a) the plate data are those required from the electric and fuel supply system;
b) the setting of the burner is adequate to the power of the boiler;
c) the combustion air flow and the fumes exhaust are in compliance with the regulations in force;
d) the aeration and the ordinary maintenance of the burner are guaranteed.
Before disassembling the burner or opening inspection holes, disconnect from mains feed cocks of the fuel.
Do not leave containers with inflammables where the burner is placed.
The room of the burner shall have openings to the outside in compliance with regulation in force. In case of doubt as to
the air circulation, measure the value of the CO
ventilated only through the openings destined to feed the air to the burner; then measure the value of CO
with the door open. The value of CO
and one fan should be placed in the same room, this test shall be effected with all the units working at the same time.
Do not obstruct the ventilation openings in the room where the burner is instlled to prevent:
- the generation of toxic or explosive mixtures
- the combustion with inadequate air, which would cause a dangerous, expensive and pulling working.
Do not leave the unit exposed to rain, snow and freeze.
The room of the burner shall be kept clean and free from volatile substances, which could be taken inside the fan and
obstruct the inside lines of the burner or of the combustion head. The powder is extremely harmful, especially if it settles
on the fan blades, where it will reduce the ventilation and cause pollution during the combustion. The powder could also
settle on the back side of the flame stabilizer disk in the combustion head and cause a poor air-fuel mixture.
