7. USE OF THE HIGH-PRESSURE WASHER
7.1 WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION
Connect the machine to the water supply using a pipe of 3/4" or wider.
Connect the high pressure hose to the machine and to the lance by
screwing the screw connections firmly. Pour petrol into the tank,
close the cap and open the tap under the tank.
7.2 COMBUSTION ENGINE STARTING
For the starting phases, follow the instructions indicated in the use
and maintenance manual of the internal combustion engine.
WARNING
Carefully follow and scrupulously respect the relevant
pre-start, start, correct use and shutdown phases.
7.3 START
Fully open the water supply tap.

Before turning off the machine, wait a short period with the

engine at idle (see engine use and maintenance manual).
8. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
WARNING
During routine maintenance, cleaning or extraordinary
maintenance operations, it is mandatory to put on the
personal protective equipment provided.
WARNING
Non-compliance with these safety instructions could
result in injury, death or damage to the equipment.
WARNING
All maintenance or cleaning operations are to be carried
out with the machine switched off, the spark plug cable
disconnected and only once the motor has cooled to avoid
burns and fire hazards. No one other than maintenance
personnel should be permitted to approach the machine.
8.1 SAFETY STANDARDS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Routine maintenance comprises a series of simple operations to be
carried out at regular intervals and in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions. The manufacturer has reduced the
number and complexity of the routine maintenance operations so
that they can be performed even by those who do not have
considerable technical skills or complex equipment. Mainly these
include:
Checking pump oil levels using the sight glass on the pump
•
housing
Cleaning the fittings and greasing the fittings gaskets
•
Check the levels of the engine oil, the gearbox and the conditions
•
of the filters (as prescribed in the use and maintenance manual
of the engine installed).
WARNING
If the oil needs to be changed, dispose of the old oil
responsibly in compliance with all current regulations.
Under no circumstances are these substances to be
released into the environment.
8.2 SAFETY STANDARDS FOR CLEANING THE MACHINE
