LISTENING TO TAPES (PLAYBACK)
V Operate the unit in numerical order.
® Each time the DIRECTION but-
ton is pushed, dand > will auto-
matically switch back and forth.
1 Switch on both the amplifier and the RT-350H.
@ Set the function selector on the amplifier for playback of the RT-
350H and increase the volume level slightly.
3 Push the EJECT button to open the cassette compartment door.
Place the tape you want to listen to into the cassette compart-
ment with side A (1) facing towards you
INDICATOR {NORMAL, CrO2 or METAL).

7 To listen to either side Aor B, push
the PLAY button.

Playback of either side A or B will
begin.
® Afters playing either side A or B, the tape
will stop.
e When the tape is
being wound from
left to right, this will
be side A.
#When the tape is
being wound from
right to left, this will
be side B.
The side recorded when the DIRECTION
indicator is » will yield best results
during playback if playback is in the same
direction as recorded.
® The same applies to the ¢ direction.

When playing the tape continuously
from side A to side B or vice versa,
follow the procedure below.
7 Push the AUTO REVERSE button.

8 Push the PLAY button.

After playing side A (or B), the tape
will automatically begin playing side
B (or A). {Quick Auto Reverse}
After playing both sides, the tape will
stop.

lf the tape has been recorded with the DOLBY NR system, set the
DOLBY NR switch to the ON position and then set the selectar to
B if recorded in B-type or set it to C if in C-type. If recorded
without the DOLBY NR system, the DOLBY NR switch should be
set to the OFF position.
6 Push the DIRECTION button to play the side that you wish to

When playing only a single pro-
