INTRODUCTION SCAN PLAYBACK
e}NTRO SCAN will operate until the end of the tape is reached.
elf the both sides playback mode is set, introduction scanning of
both sides of the tape can be accomplished.
® The intro-scan playback is a feature which allows you to listen to12
seconds of each programme on pre-recorded music tapes and then
resume forward APSS or reverse APSS.
This feature is useful for quickly finding a programme that you do
not know the location of.
VW Operate the unit in numerical order 1
1 Set to either forward APSS or reverse APSS. (See page 12 for
details.)
2 Push the INTRO SCAN/AUTO SPACING button. The indicator
will light.
3 When the beginning of the programme that was being heard or
the beginning of the next programme is found, approximately 12
seconds of the programme is automatically palyed. At this time,
check the programme to see if it is the desired one.
4 After approximately 12 seconds of the programme is played,
forward APSS or reverse APSS is resumed and approximately 12
seconds of the next programme will be played and this process is
repeated.

During reverse introduction playback, if there is a blank section
within 12 seconds from the space between programmes, reverse
APSS will begin immediately from that section and reverse APSS
and playback operations may be repeated between the space
