First use:
Important
The surface of the ceramic hob must be cleaned as described in the cleaning and
maintenance section.
- Switch on both cooking zones for 5 minutes at maximum power, but do not switch
them on simultaneously. Place a saucepan half full with cold water in each zone. This
will help to eliminate any new odours and evaporate any moisture that may have
formed in the heating elements during transport.
- Do not switch on both cooking zones at the same time.
3. INSTALLATION
Electrical connections
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the supply voltage indicated on the
product marking corresponds to your mains voltage.
Warning
This appliance must be connected to an earthed socket.
- If the mains cable is to be replaced, the earthing conductor (yellow/green) must
always be 10 mm longer than the line conductors.
- Make sure that the temperature of the power cable does not exceed 50 °C.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the
official EVVO Technical Support Service to avoid any potential risk.
