7. MAINTENANCE & SERVICE GUIDE
Daily maintenance
Attention! Cleaning of the equipment, as well as the maintenance mentioned in this manual, are
considered basic and periodic maintenance of the equipment, and are not covered by the
warranty.
Attention! Mechanical damage that occurs due to failure to perform the basic maintenance
described herein does not confer the right to warranty replacement.
The service life and performance of this equipment are reduced depending on the quality of maintenance. It
is recommended that you inspect the equipment before and after each use.
After each use, thoroughly clean dust, and dirt from the engine, check the engine for fuel leaks, and retighten
screws and loose parts.
Check the oil level of the pump, which should be in the middle of the level indicator, if necessary, top up with
20W50 oil.
Attention! Avoid pumping water mixed with dirt and/or sand, which can drastically shorten the
life of this equipment.
Cleaning the rotor blades and cylinder fins
Make sure that the rotor blades and cylinder cooling fins are unobstructed and free of dust or dirt.
The blades and fins ensure the cooling of the engine during its operation; If the air passage is obstructed,
this causes the engine to overheat, which can lead to locking ("seizure") of internal parts and damage to
parts such as the spark plug and coil. Carry out this cleaning daily.
Attention! Avoid contact on hot surfaces of the equipment. There is a risk of serious burns.
Carburettor
Always after using the equipment, clean the outer surface of the carburettor and the surrounding area.
The carburetor is factory adjusted. If it is necessary to adjust its adjustment, the equipment must be sent to
an Authorized Technical Assistance.
Air Filter
Remove the air filter, clean it with soap and water, and allow to dry. If using compressed air, blow from the
inside out.
Cleaning the air filter should be carried out daily. In environments that have a greater accumulation of dust,
you should pay extra attention to the periodic cleaning of the air filter.
It is recommended to carry a spare air filter to change at least twice a day.
Attention! The air filter must always be in perfect working condition, i.e. clean, with complete
integrity and correctly adjusted to the filter cover.
If the filter is excessively dirty or no longer fits properly, replace it.
The use of a clean air filter when operating the equipment is an indispensable factor, since every 2-
stroke engine needs clean air for proper operation.
Care such as periodic cleaning according to the need presented by the work environment and regular
replacement of the air filter ensure a longer life of the equipment.
Failure to use or lack of maintenance of the air filter allows dust to enter the interior of the engine,
causing damage to the equipment that is not covered by the product warranty.
