The conditioning system uses R134a coolant.
At the beginning of every season, it is advisable to check that the system is full of coolant. A lack of coolant
usually causes a drop in performance. The check can be carried out by connecting a filling station and
checking the pressure levels. Should there be a severe lack of coolant, before topping up it is necessary to
locate the leakage point and find a remedy. In this case it is also advisable to check the level of lubricant in the
compressor and top it up if necessary.
It is necessary to clean the dust filters inside the external air inlet compartment (where applicable) and in the
air inlet compartment inside the driver's cab (if fitted during installation) regularly.
At the beginning of every season, inspect every system component, including the electrical components, to
ensure that there are no anomalies.
In the case of important repairs, it is wise to replace the dehydrator filter.
This operation is indispensable if the system has been left open for a long time or if humidity has formed inside
it.
