- Start welding.
8.4 – ARC AIR CUTTING AND GOUGING
This mode only if available on the 500 and 600 amps models.
Before any cutting or gouging operation, carefully read the Safety Instructions contained in the instruction
manual.
- The user must read security instructions and protect itself with the above individual protection equipment:
leather gloves, protection mask DIN 9, gaiters and apron.
- Disconnect the machine from the mains.
- Before connecting the Arcair electrode holder, check the correct contact of the power cable.
- Connect the power cable of the electrode holder to the positive socket.
- Connect the compressed air hose to the mains pressure min. 5 bar, min. flow 100 lts/min.
- Connect the ground cable to the central socket of the machine and to the piece to be cut.
- Check the electrical contact between the ground clamp and the workpiece.
