Starting up
WARNING
Danger from dust that is harmful to your health
Respiratory sicknesses through inhalation of dust.
Do not vacuum without correctly installed filter ele-
ments, otherwise a danger to health from increased fine
dust emission is present.
Note
Additional regulations may apply to dusts with an igni-
tion energy of less than 1 mJ.
1. Bring the device into the working position and se-
cure it with the parking brake if necessary.
2. Plug the suction hose into the suction hose port.
3. Check the filling level in the dirt receptacle before
starting work and empty the receptacle if necessary.
4. Attach the desired accessory.
Automatic suction power monitor
The device is equipped with a suction power monitor. If
the air speed in the suction hose drops below a speed
of 20 m/s, the "vacuum pressure" indicator light flashes
red (see Help with malfunctions).
Note
The indicator light can light up intermittently during nor-
mal operation (e.g.when working with a floor nozzle)
when the air quantity is reduced (cross-section reduc-
tion) and the vacuum pressure increases as a result.
Note
In these cases, however, it is not a defect, but an indica-
tion that the air quantity has reduced and the vacuum
pressure has increased, as indicated above.
Anti-static system
Static charges are discharged through the earthed con-
nection nozzles. This prevents sparking and electric
shocks with electrically conducting accessories (includ-
ed in the scope of delivery).
Dry vacuuming
● The device is fitted with a fleece filter bag with cap,
order no. 2.885-753.0 (5 pieces).
Note
All types of dust up to dust class M can be vacuumed
with this device. The use of a dust collection bag (for or-
der no. see filter systems) is required by law when vac-
uuming M-dusts. L-dusts can be vacuumed directly into
the dust collection container.
Note
The device is an industrial vacuum cleaner for vacuum-
ing dry, conducting, combustible dusts with workplace
limit values (AGW) larger than 0.1 mg/m
WARNING
Danger from dust that is harmful to your health

● The device switches off automatically when the
maximum fluid level is reached.
● When vacuuming non-conductive liquids (e.g. drill
emulsion, oils and grease) the device does not au-
tomatically switch off when the container is full. The
filling level must be continuously monitored and the
container emptied on a timely basis.
● On completion of wet vacuum cleaning: dry the flat
fold filter Clean the electrodes with a brush. Clean
the container with a moist cloth and dry it off.
