8. Assembly
NOTE: first remove the blade assembly (see
"Removing the blade assembly from the
Monsieur Cuisine" on page 21).
Work steps:
1. Insert the shaft adapter 6 from the top
into the blender jug.
Please take note that the two cams at
the base of the shaft adapter 6 must be
pushed through the two recesses in the
underside of the blender jug.
CAUTION:
Ensure that the sealing
ring 7 is properly posi-
tioned on the shaft adapt-
er
6, since otherwise the
contents might escape.
2. Position the blender jug of the
Monsieur Cuisine horizontally.
3. In order to lock the shaft
adapter 6, move the unlocking
lever on the underside of the
blender jug so that it points to
the closed lock symbol.
4. Insert the blender jug into
the blade socket of the
Monsieur Cuisine.
5. Press the blender jug
down slightly until it is
properly seated.

NOTES:
• If the blender jug cannot be pressed
downwards, you need to "wobble" it
slightly so that the flower-shaped hub of
the shaft adapter 6 in the blender jug
engages with the blade socket of the
Monsieur Cuisine.
• Should the blender jug not be posi-
tioned correctly, a safety mechanism
prevents the functioning of the device.
6. Place the axle
5 for the grater and cut-
ting disc on the shaft adapter
NOTE: ensure that the axle
tached to the shaft adapter
tabs on the axle 5 must engage with the re-
cesses on the adapter.
7. Position the grater and cutting disc 4 on
the shaft adapter 6 in such a way that
the tool with which you want to work is
positioned on top.
8. Place the lid 3 for the blender jug on
with a slight offset.
9. Turn the lid 3 clockwise with both
hands until it is firmly in place.
NOTE: only when the lid 3 is correctly
closed, the device can start. The alignment
pin at the upper end of the axle 5 must be
inserted in the middle of the lid 3 when clos-
ing.
