Lavatory Rim
Height
1. Prepare the Site
Determine the finished height and centerline of your lavatory rim.
Mark the determined lavatory rim height and center on the
unfinished wall.
IMPORTANT! The two vertical 2x4 braces must be at least 21" (53.3
cm) in length to properly support the wall storage.
Notch the studs to provide support for the braces.
Install a 2x4 brace horizontally so the vertical center of the brace
is 15-9/16" (39.5 cm) above the marked lavatory rim height.
Install another 2x4 brace horizontally so the vertical center of the
brace is 22-1/4" (56.5 cm) from the centerpoint of the previously
installed horizontal brace.
Install the finished wall.
Install the vanity and lavatory according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
