Removing and Replacing the Main Broom

The main broom can be removed from the rear of the rider sweeper. Proceed as follows to remove and replace the main broom:
1 Remove the hopper.
2 Lift up the rider sweeper at the rear.
3 Remove bolts 1, fig. 8 securing the broom to the drive rods 5 and 6.
4 Pull out broom 3.
5 Install the two alignment pins 2 and 2A (standard accessories) to the ends of the drive rods 5 and 6.
6 Slide the slots 4 on the new broom 3 over the alignment pins 2 and 2A.
NOTE: Engage pin 2 first.
7 Push the new broom onto the drive rods 5 and 6.
8 Remove the alignment pins 2 and 2A and secure the broom in position with bolts 1.
