Remember to turn the unit off and disconnect it from any power source
when it is not in use. Also remember to turn off the accessory outlet
switch to avoid draining the vehicle's battery.
USB Ports
The USB ports are controlled by the power button.
Important Notes Concerning the USB Ports
1. The USB-A Port provides up to 15W output power. The USB-C
Port provides up to PD 25W output power. The total output is up to
5V/15W when the USB-C and USB-A used simultaneously.
2. When the USB Ports are in use, the unit will monitor for the following
USB fault conditions on all the USB Ports: low voltage fault, overload
and short circuit. In any of these cases, the USB Ports will automatically
shut down. Should this occur:
a. Disconnect the USB-powered device and press and hold the Power
Button for one second to turn the USB Ports off immediately.
b. Make sure there is sufficient power level of the power source.
c. Allow the unit to cool down for several minutes before attempting
to use the USB Ports again.
d. If a fault occurs again, make sure that draw of the USB devices
plugged into the USB Ports do not exceed the maximum rating.
e. If an individual USB device is within specifications and the fault
occurs, have the USB device checked for malfunction and do not
continue to use it with these USB Ports.
3. This unit's USB Ports do not support data communication. They
only provide power to external USB-powered devices.
4. Some household USB-powered electronics will not operate with
this unit.
Important notes:
* If any fault occurs the USB ports only, the unit turn off the USB ports
only. The inverter operates normally.
* The LCD display will not show the power consumption of the USB
ports. It only show the power consumption of the AC outlets.
USING THE USB PORTS
1. Press and hold the Power Button for one second to turn all of the
USB Ports on (the AC Outlets turn on as well). A beep will sound, and
the LCD Screen will continuously display the following:
The AC Outlet Icon, 12VDC Input Icon or Battery Pack Input Icon
and the USB Icon light solid and the Digital Readout shows "XXXW"
(the wattage display is for the loads connected to the AC outlets
only) . The bars on the Battery Icon represent the voltage level of the
connected source.
The Battery Clamps Input LED Indicator, 12VDC Adapter Plug Input
LED Indicator or DeWALT® 20V Battery Pack Input LED Indicator lights
depending the power source connected.
2. Plug the USB-powered device into the USB Ports and operate
normally.
3. Press and hold the Power Button for one second again to turn the
unit off.
Remember to turn the unit off and disconnect it from any power source
when it is not in use. Also remember to turn off the accessory outlet
switch to avoid draining the vehicle's battery.
