Coffee grinder-dosers / Coffee grinders for grocery stores
3.4 Safety devices applied to the appliance
All the coffee grinder-dosers and coffee grinders produced by
Fiorenzato M.C. S.r.l. are equipped with adequate mechanical and electro-
mechanical devices designed to protect the safety of the user and the integ-
rity/functionality of the appliance during its use.
In particular, the appliances are equipped with the following safety devices:
• Motor thermal protector (present on all appliances)
The device motor has a thermal protector that protects it from excessive heating due
to overcurrents and intervenes by interrupting the power supply to the motor. If the
thermal protector intervenes due to malfunctions (for example the grinders stop), it is
necessary to turn off the appliance using the switch, remove the connection plug from
the mains and contact technically qualified personnel. Never intervene on the live
appliance as there is the risk that the motor could suddenly restart. If the appliance
has overheated due to the motor stopping, it is necessary to wait for it to cool before
intervening.
• Anti-intrusion mushroom on the coffee supply hopper (Fig. 3)
The anti-intrusion mushroom (Item 1) present inside all the supply hoppers (Item 2)
allows the passage of coffee beans towards the grinding chamber, preventing the
accidental introduction of fingers by the operator.
• Coffee outlet protection on coffee grinder-dosers (Fig. 4)
The coffee outlet pipe of all the coffee grinder-dosers is protected by a dedicated plas-
tic grid (Item 1), built into the body of the dispenser (Item 2) which prevents fingers
from being introduced into the grinding chamber when the lid of the dispenser (Item
3) is removed.
