to read the instructions before installing and using the safe to
avoid misuse and voiding the warranty

Do not store the emergency keys in the safe.

2. OPENING THE SAFE BOX FOR THE FIRST TIME
AND INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
• Remove the emergency lock cover.
• Insert the emergency key and turn in an anticlockwise
direction. The key may only be removed in the original
position.
• Turn the knob to the right and pull to open the door.
Important: once locked, remove the emergency key and keep
it in a safe place (never inside the safe box).
• Open the battery compartment behind the door and insert
four 1.5 V alkaline batteries, making sure the polarity is
correct.
Important: never combine old and new batteries.
3. SETTING UP AND DELETING FINGERPRINTS
This safe box can programme 29 fingerprints for standard use
and 1 fingerprint for master use.
Programming a fingerprint for standard use (the safe box
must be open):
• Press the RESET button (located to the left on the back
of the door) and release it; you will hear 2 beeps, and the
screen will display READY.
• Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner until the
screen shows OK and beeps once.
• Repeat this procedure at least 4 times with the same
finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps and the screen
displays DONE.
• Make sure that you can open the door with the registered
fingerprint before closing it.
• You can register a total of 29 fingerprints by repeating the
same procedure.

Programming a fingerprint for master use (the safe box
must be open):
• Press the RESET button (located to the left on the back of
the door) a first beep will sound; press and hold the button
for 5 seconds until you hear a second beep and then release
it. The screen will display MASTER.
• Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner until the
screen shows OK and beeps once.
• Repeat this procedure at least 3 times until you hear 2
consecutive beeps and the screen displays DONE.
• Make sure that you can open the door with the registered
fingerprint before closing it..
Deleting fingerprints
• Press the RESET (a first activation beep will sound); press
and hold for more than 15 seconds until a long beep is
heard and the display shows "RESET". All registered
fingers will be deleted.

• Hold the registered finger on the fingerprint reader and
hold it until the screen displays OPEN. You will then have 5
seconds to turn the knob to the right to open the door.
• The inside LED light will automatically turn on for 25
seconds.
5. EMERGENCY OPENING
If the fingerprint does not work or the safe box runs out of
batteries, use the emergency key to open the safe. To do this,
access the emergency lock, insert the key provided with these
instructions and turn it anticlockwise. Next, turn the knob to
the right and pull to open the door.
Re-establish the fingerprint and then change the batteries if
necessary.
Note: in case of emergency opening due to 5 failed attempts,
the use of the emergency key opens the door but does not
unlock the electronic system.
6. CLOSING THE SAFE BOX
Close the safe door and turn the knob anticlockwise. The
screen will display "Closed".
7. SAFE LOCKOUT
If there are 5 failed opening attempts in a row, you will hear a
15-second warning sound and you will be unable to try again
for 1 minute.
The screen will show HOLD1, HOLD2... up to HOLD60, and the
system will unlock.
8. SILENT MODE
To activate silent mode, press the RESET button (located
to the left on the back of the door) twice within one second.
The screen will then display SILENT, confirming successful
activation of silent mode.
In silent mode, there will be no audible fingerprint acceptance
or system lockout alerts.
To revert to sound mode, press the RESET button twice again
within one second. The screen will display BUZZER.
