Stud bolts [ 17 ] are mounted on the
flange of the spiral casing of the
disposal pump [ 16 ] on delivery.
Slide the seal [ 18 ] with the holes over
the stud bolts [ 17 ] (3).
Slide the pressure elbow [ 19 ] with the
holes over the stud bolts [ 17 ] (4).
Slide the washers [ 21 ] over the stud
bolts [ 17 ] . Screw the nuts [ 20 ] onto
the stud bolts [ 17 ] and tighten them
crosswise with a tightening torque of 20
to 25 . Nm (5).
Grease the spigot on the pressure
elbow [ 19 ] with an acid-free lubricant.
Loosen the conical nut of the elbow
union [ 22 ] by 3 - 4 turns (do not unscrew
completely). Push the elbow union
[ 22 ] onto the spigot of the discharge
connection as far as it will go and tighten
the conical nut by hand. For optimum
tightness, tighten with a tool suitable for
plastic clamps (6).
Grease the spigot on the suction pipe [ 9 ]
with an acid-free lubricant. Loosen the
conical nut of the elbow union [ 22 ] by
3 - 4 turns (do not unscrew completely).
Push the suction pipe [ 9 ] into the
compression fitting as far as it will go
and tighten the conical nut by hand. For
optimum tightness, tighten with a tool
suitable for plastic clamps (7).
