Upon receipt of the machine, check the packaging
for damage or tampering. In the event of damage to
the packaging, sign the delivery note for the carrier
adding a remark such as I accept, with reservation...
and state the reason. Once the packaging has
been opened, if there are really damaged machine
components, report them to the courier and to the
supplier within three days from the date indicated on
the documents.
3.3 - INSTALLATION
WARNING!
The area where you intend to install the machine
must be flat and solid. In addition, the machine must
be positioned with plenty of space around it. This
allows greater room for manoeuvres in the work
phases and guarantees access for subsequent
maintenance work. Provide suitable lighting around
the machine to ensure the correct visibility for the
operator using the machine.
3.3.1 - PACKAGING DISPOSAL
Packaging components such as cardboard and
nylon are products that can be disposed of with
standard solid waste. They can then be disposed
of with no constraints. Polystyrene is a polluting
material that produces toxic fumes when burned.
Do not burn and do not release in the environment
but dispose of according to the prevailing laws.
If the machine is delivered to countries where
special regulations exist, dispose of the packaging
in accordance with the regulations in force.
3.3.2 - MOVING THE MACHINE
WARNING!
Due to the overall weight of the machine, a
second operator is required during any handling
movements.
3.4 - CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM WARNING!
WARNING!
Check that the power supply corresponds to the
specifications on the machine's nameplate.
TRE SPADE
Any intervention must only be carried out by
specialised personnel expressly authorised by the
person in charge. Connect o mains equipped with
an efficient grounding.
3.4.1 - SINGLE-PHASE MACHINE, 230 VOLT - 50 Hz
In this configuration the machine is equipped with a
3x1.5 power cable, about 1.5-metre long. Connect
the cable to the 230 Volt-50 Hz single-phase power
supply. For configurations with voltages other than
those mentioned, consult the manufacturer.
If you need to extend the power cable, use a
cable of the same section as the one installed by
the manufacturer. For checking proper electrical
connection, see par. 5.1.
4 - CONTROLS
4.1 - LIST OF CONTROLS
The stop/start push-button panel allows the
equipment to be switched on and off.
O Stop button: stops the power supply to the electric
motor and hence the rotation of the auger.
I Start button: starts the power supply to the
electric motor and hence the rotation of the auger.
5 - STARTING AND STOPPING
5.1 - CHECKING THE CORRECT
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
WARNING!
Check that the power supply corresponds to the
specifications on the machine's nameplate and that
it is equipped with an effective ground connection.
In machines connected to a single-phase line and
designed for this type of power supply, the correct
direction of rotation of the motor is defined directly
by the manufacturer.
