6.2 - CONDITIONS OF USE
This machine has been specially conceived for meat
mincing, therefore it should not be used for different
applications. The following prescriptions must be
complied with to ensure suitability for contact with
foodstuffs (European Regulation no. 1935/2004/
EC):
- Unfrozen meat or fish only can be processed.
- Temperature of foodstuffs to be processed must
not exceed 7 °C

DESCRIPTION
The machine mainly consists of two parts:
a) A power unit or motor unit (1) necessary to
provide motion. It is equipped with an electric
motor with start/stop switch (2), power cord,
power take-off and base with feet (7) to be placed
on the workbench. Except for extraordinary
maintenance, which should only be carried out
TRE SPADE
by the manufacturer, no other upkeep needs
to be done. It is advisable to avoid any upkeep
operation: the only actions to be taken are those
connected with the instructions for use.
b) A mincing unit (3) composed by several parts,
which will be described hereafter. This unit must
be firmly connected to the motor sembly (1) in
order to perform its duty.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS (see fig. 6.2.1)
Prepare the motor unit (1) by placing it on the work
surface using the support feet (7). Disassemble
the mincing unit to pieces. Completely unscrew
the threaded ring and remove the drilled plate, the
blade and the auger from the body. We recommend
to carefully wash and dry all the parts mentioned at
this stage, also including the presser and the feed
hopper. Of course the gearmotor (1) must not be
washed.
6.3 - USE OF THE MACHINE
COMMISSIONING
WARNING!
At this stage the switch of the power unit (1)
must be positioned to stop (0). The power cord
and the plug must be disconnected from the
mains.
Partially unscrew the handwheel (6) and fit the
body (3) into its seat in the motor unit (1).
Make sure that the meat feed opening of the body
is facing upwards and that it is fully down. Lock
by turning the handwheel (6) completely, but do
not force the locking position. If the body has been
properly assembled, it cannot be taken out or
revolve in its seat.
Fit the auger horizontally into the body, from the
spline shaft side, making it rest against the bush
(which is inside the body).
If necessary, at this stage slightly turn the auger
so as to ease the insertion of the coupling into the
motor power take-off.
The following parts will have to be fit into the pin
in the following order with the square drive part
jutting out from the auger:
