7.2 INSTALLATION PLACE PROVISION
Secure the outdoor unit with the anchor bolts.
Air Flow Direction
Fix the outdoor unit to the anchor bolts by field-supplied
special washer.
When installing the outdoor unit, fix the unit by anchor bolts.
Regarding the location of fixing holes

When installing the unit on a roof or a veranda, drain water
may turn to ice in a cold morning. Therefore, avoid draining in
an area where people often use because it is slippery.
In case of installing in such a place, provide the additional
drainage around the foundation.

The whole of the base of the outdoor unit should be
installed on a foundation. When using vibration-proof mat, it
should also be positioned in the same way. When installing
the outdoor unit on a field-supplied frame, use metal plates
to adjust the frame width for stable installation as shown in
figure.
