Refer to the table below when this unit does not function properly. If the problem you are experiencing is not listed below
or if the instruction below does not help, turn off this unit, disconnect the power cable, and contact the nearest authorized

Cause
Connect the power cable firmly.

cable, plug it back in after 30 seconds and then use this
unit normally.

Disconnect the optimizer microphone.

"COAX/OPT".
Select an appropriate input source with the INPUT
selector on the front panel (or the input selector
buttons on the remote control).
Secure the connections.
Select the front speakers by pressing A SPEAKERS
on the front panel repeatedly.
Turn up the volume.
Press G MUTE or E VOLUME +/– on the remote
control to resume audio output and then adjust the
volume.
Play a source whose signals can be reproduced by this
unit.
Connect HDMI components that support the HDCP
copy protection standards.
Set "S.AUDIO" to "RX-V663" in "MANUAL
SETUP".
Set "VIDEO CONV." to "ON" or connect your source
components in the same way as you connect your
video monitor to this unit.
Check that the speaker impedance setting is correct.
Check that the speaker wires are not touching each
other and then turn this unit back on.
Turn this unit on, and play the source again.
Press G MUTE or E VOLUME +/– on the remote
control to resume audio output.
Connect the cables properly. If the problem persists,
the cables may be defective.
Adjust the "SP LEVEL" settings.
