Warning!
The reversible slicing disc is not suitable for
slicing hard cheese, bread, bread rolls or
chocolate. Slice boiled potatoes only when cold.
Reversible shredding disc -
coarse/fine
for shredding vegetables, fruit and cheese,
except hard cheese (e.g. parmesan)
Process on setting 3 or 4
Designation on the reversible shredding disc:
2" for the coarse shredding side
4" for the fine shredding side
Warning!
The reversible shredding disc is not suitable for
shredding nuts. Shred soft cheese with the
coarse side only (on setting 4).
Grating disc - medium fine
for grating raw carrots, hard cheese
(e.g. parmesan) and nuts
Process on setting 4.
Warning!
The grating disc is not suitable for grating soft
cheese or cheese slices.
S Attach the drive shaft with the predetermined
breaking point face down to the continuous
feed shredder.
S Insert desired slicing or shredding disc.
If using the reversible discs, ensure that
the desired side is face up.
S Attach the lid (note mark) and rotate as far as
possible in a clockwise direction.
S Press the release button and move the swivel
arm into the operating position.
S Remove the drive cover: Rotate the drive cover
until the locking feature is released.
S Attach the continuous feed shredder to the
drive and rotate as far as possible in a clock
wise direction.
S Place a bowl or plate under the outlet of the
continuous feed shredder.
S Select the recommended setting with the
rotary switch.
S Place ingredients which are to be processed in
the filling shaft and force down with the pusher.
Warning!
Prevent the cut food from accumulating in the
outlet.
Tip: To ensure ingredients are cut uniformly,
process small amounts of thinly cut ingredients.
Note: If the continuous feed shredder becomes
blocked with the ingredients which are being
processed, switch off the food processor, pull out
the mains plug, wait until the drive has stopped,
take the lid off the continuous feed shredder and
empty the filling shaft.

After using the appliance
S Switch off the appliance with the rotary switch.
S Rotate the continuous feed shredder in an
anti clockwise direction and remove.
S Rotate the lid in an anti clockwise direction
and remove.
S Remove the disc and drive coupling.
S Clean the parts.
Cleaning and servicing
All parts of the continuous feed shredder are
dishwasher proof.
Tip: To remove the red coating after processing,
e.g. carrots, pour a little cooking oil on a cloth and
wipe the continuous feed shredder (not the
cutting discs). Then rinse the continuous feed
shredder.
Optional accessories
(Available from specialist outlets)
Chipper disc (a)
for slicing raw potatoes.
S Prepare the chipper disc in the same way as
the continuous feed shredder. Ensure that the
blades are inserted face up.
Warning!
Add more potatoes only when the drive is at
a standstill.
S Place potatoes in the feed tube.
S Set the rotary switch to 3.
S Force down the potatoes with the pusher.
Grating disc, coarse (b)
for grating raw potatoes.
S Prepare the grating disc in the same way as
the continuous feed shredder. Ensure that the
blades are inserted face up.
S Place potatoes in the feed tube.
S Set the rotary switch to 3.
S Force down the potatoes with the pusher.
Julienne disc (c)
for cutting vegetables, potatoes, carrots, celery
or hard fruit into long, narrow strips.
S Prepare the Julienne disc in the same way as
the continuous feed shredder. Ensure that the
blades are inserted face up.
Warning!
Add more ingredients only when the drive is at
a standstill.
S Place ingredients which are to be processed
in the feed tube.
S Set the rotary switch to 4.
S Force down the ingredients with the pusher.
