1 Prerequisites
Automower® Connect accessories must be
installed by a dealer. The installation includes a
software update in the mower and the installa-
tion of accessories, including SIM card and its
settings such as the APN URL: husqvarna.tcxn.

2 Getting started

2.1 Download the Connect app
Scan the QR code on the back of the manual
with your smartphone to download your free
app. You can also download the app from the
AppStore or GooglePlay.
2.2 Create a Connect account
Once you have downloaded your app, you can
specify a valid e-mail address and a password
to create a Connect account. You will receive
a validation e-mail to the e-mail address you
specified. Follow the instructions in the e-mail
within 48 hours to validate your account. If not
validated within 48 hours, you will have to cre-
ate your account again.
2.3 Pair the mower with the
account
The mower can be paired with the account
after the account has been created in the app.
When the app prompts you to do so, enter the
6-digit code shown on the mower display after
selecting the function Accessories >
Automower Connect (mower PIN required) >
Pairing > New pairing. Also enter the name of
the mower into the app.

2.4 Activate GeoFence origin
Before GeoFence can be used, its center point
(origin) and sensitivity must be set. This can
be done only from the mower menu.
Place the mower centrally in your garden.
Select Accessories > Automower Connect
(mower PIN required) > GeoFence. Activate
the function by selecting Activate GeoFence
and pressing OK. Select New center point to
set the origin for GeoFence. GeoFence sensi-
tivity can be changed to suit your garden. Sen-
sitivity can be set to low, medium or high. The
higher the sensitivity, the easier the alarm is
activated. If the alarm is activated too easily,
when a false alarm is given inside the garden
for example, you should select a lower setting
for the GeoFence sensitivity.
When putting the mower into storage for a
long period, such as during the winter, we rec-
ommend turning off the main switch. With the
GeoFence function activated, you will need a
PIN in order to turn off the mower. Once the
main switch has been turned off, the Connect
function will stay active for another 12 hours. It
will then not be possible to communicate with
the mower and the GeoFence function will not
be active.
2.5 Status icons in the mower
With Automower® Connect activated, new icons
will be displayed on the mower's idling screen.
The bars show the signal strength of the
GPRS reception.
An X next to the bars indicates a prob-
lem has arisen concerning the connec-
tion with the Internet server.
The SIM symbol indicates there is a
problem with the SIM card or the
module.
