Timed cooking allows you to set the oven
to turn on immediately, cook for a selected
length of time and turn off automatically.
To set the oven to turn on immediately and
turn off automatically:
NOTE: Before beginning, make sure the clock
shows the correct time of day.
To avoid possible burns, place the racks in the
correct position beR)re turning on the ()veil.
O Turn the Oven Mode knob to the desired
cooking fhnction.
NOTE: Timed cooMng cannot be set for the
Broil or Proof features.

Using the Temperature knob,
set the desired temperature, in 25°F
increments, fiom 200°F to 550°E
The ()veil and the ()veil interior lights will
turn on immediately and stay on until the
()veil t/uns ()f_.
The convection fan will turn on (after a
short delay), the PREHEAT light will turn
on and 100°F will appear in the display.
(The temperature display will start to
change
once
the
oven temperature reaches
100°E) The control will beep when the ()veil
is preheated--this will rake approximately
10 to 15 minutes. The PREHEAT light will
turn off and the display will show the set
temperature.
When the PREHEAT light goes ()ff_place
food in the ()veil.
Push the COOK TIME button.
NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating,
you may need to add additional time to the
length of cooking time (approximately 10
to 15 minutes).

(The maximum cooking time is 9 hours and
59 minutes. The minimum cooking time is

The display will show COOK TIME and the
cooking time countdown.
NOTE: The cook time coundown will start
imInediately.
The oven will continue to cook for the
programmed amount of time, then turn off
automaticall),.
To recall the cook time, push the COOK TIME
button. To change it, turn and push the Mini-
lgalc)b.
At the end of dined cooking, the oven
will turn ()if; 0:00 will flash quickly; END will
show in the display and the ()veil control will
beep. To stop the reminder beep, turn the
Oven Mode knob and the Temperature
knob to OFK
NOTE:
* The WARM (175 ° shows in the display)
temperature setting of this ()veil is available to
keep hot cooked foods warIn. Food kept in
the ()veil longer than two hours at these low
temperatures may not be safe. to eat.
* Foods that spoil easily, such as milk, eggs, fish,
stuffings, poultry and pork, should not be
allowed to sit for more than one hour before
or after cooking. Room temperaune
promotes the growth of harmflll bacteria.
