INSTALLATION

BEFORE USE

1. Before use make sure that the feeding cable is not damaged or crushed.
2. Supply power to the pump and turn it on without connecting the tubes. Check that air comes out of
the outlets of the tubes (caution: the air comes out alternately from the outlets which can be in 2 or
3 according to the model).
3. Check that the connecting tubes are not damaged or crushed.
4. If necessary, replace the damaged parts only with original ones.
INSTRUCTIONS
Turn the appliance off
1. Place the pump on a flat surface or hang it where you can by means of the hooks.
2. Connect the tubes to the pump and to the arm/leg sleeve.
3. Check that the tube connecting points on the sleeve is not damaged.
4. Turn the pressure-adjusting knob to the minimum.
5. Put the sleeve on and fasten the zipper completely.
6. Switch on pump on. The green light indicates that the pump is working. Do not put on or take off
the sleeve while the pump is working.
7. Adjust pressure turning the knob on the front of the appliance clockwise to the value indicated by
your physician according to the following chart.

The chart indicates the millimeters of mercury as units of measure and pressure and the
corresponding numbers on the pressure-adjusting knob.
ATTENTION:
Do not open the zipper with pressure in the arm-leg sleeves. Before opening or closing the
zipper make sure that the system (arm-leg sleeves) are deflated.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IN CASE OF DYSFUNCTIONING CHECK THE FOLLOWING POINTS.
1. Check that the pump is connected to mains and that the green switch is on and lit.
2. Check that the tubes are properly connected to the sleeve and to the pump.
3. The sleeve does not inflate immediately. You have to wait for a few minutes before noticing the
cyclical working of the pump.
