7) Range of measured values of a flammable gas that can be around zero within a range from +2 to -5 % LEL and where the instrument displays "0".

Range of measured values of a toxic gas that can be within a range around 0 depending on the sensor and where the instrument displays "0". The exact values are specified in the "Capture
range" column for the relevant sensor.
This range of measured values is known as the "capture range" where minor measured value fluctuations (e.g. signal noise, concentration fluctuations) does not result in a changing display.
Measured values outside the capture range are displayed using their daily measured values. The set capture range can be exported using Dräger CC-Vision and may be lower than given
above. The capture range is continuously activated in measuring mode and disabled in calibration mode.
The following capture range applies if the DrägerSensor CatEx 125 PR Gas is used under ground: +0.1 or -0.2 vol.%, respectively.
8) The instrument responds to most combustible gases and vapours. The sensitivities differ depending on the type of gas. Dräger recommends a calibration using the target gas to be measured.
